The cone crusher is suitable for crushing ores and rocks with medium and high hardness, such as iron ore, limestone, copper ore, quartz, and granite.
Working principle
The motor rotates with a pulley or a coupling when the machine begins to run. The drive shaft and the conical cone swing under the drive of the eccentric sleeve. After that, the crushing wall is now close to or now leaves the surface of the shackle wall fixed on the adjusting sleeve, so that the ore is continuously subjected to impact, extrusion and bending in the crushing chamber and then crushed.

Classification
Fote has mainly produced four types of cone crushers, i.e., the single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, the hydraulic cone crusher and the compound cone crusher.
I. The single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is developed with the integration of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and intelligent control technologies. It can medium, fine and ultra-fine crush materials and is widely used in metallurgy, construction, cement, highways and railways construction, ore beneficiation and other fields.
II. The multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher can replace the spring cone crusher and traditional ones in mining construction industry in that its high speed, high capacity and unique patent keep finished products in extremely cubic shape.
III. The hydraulic cone crusher is a new type of cone crusher that Fote Machinery develops by adopting advanced design and optimizing previous machines. In light of better crushing frequency and eccentricity, the content of the discharge granules in the closed side can reach 80%, significantly improving processing capacity in subsequent processes and reducing comprehensive energy consumption.
IV. The compound cone crusher (Symons) is mainly divided into two types, the standard type and short-head one. In general, the standard features large feeding size and large discharging size; whereas the short-head has a steep crushing cone. Thus, the standard is generally used for coarse and medium crushing and the other for medium and fine crushing.
